I finished this painting in my studio last year, using plen air studies I did during the summer. This house sits along the Mousam River by the bridge on Route 9  as you enter Kennebunk towards Kennebunkport. I often paint along the trail that travels along the salt marsh, I loved the way the early morning summer light hit the sides of the house and sheds.
