Cliff House Awarded Second Place at Fitchburg Art Museum

I’m pleased to share that my painting Cliff House was awarded Second Prize at the 90th Fitchburg Art Museum Regional Exhibition of Art & Craft. This longstanding exhibition has been a cornerstone of the region’s artistic community for generations, and I’m grateful for the recognition and for the museum’s continued support of artists across Central Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.

This September, I will present a solo exhibition of recent work—along with a few selected earlier paintings—in the East Wing Gallery at Mount Wachusett Community College:CIRCUMSTANTIAL LIGHT September 8 – October 15, 2026Reception / Closing Event: October 15, 5–7 pm

I’m honored to return to MWCC as an alumnus for this exhibition, and I am dedicating the show to the late Gene Cauthen, whose guidance shaped the creative lives of so many students. This new body of work reflects the quiet, shifting qualities of light that continue to inspire my practice.

My solo exhibition Natural Light at Creative Connections in Ashburnham, MA concluded last month, but a curated selection of my landscape paintings remains on display at the Stevens Memorial Library just next door. The work will be on view there for the next two months, and I’ll be giving an artist talk at the library soon.
